Introduction

GCU’s Research Collections are as deep as they are diverse. Amongst our existing resources are research materials on ‘1968’ – major global events in and around 1968. The year 1968 has been seen to be symbolic in many ways. This was largely so because some landmark events in major countries across the continents had either their starting points or the turning points in the year 1968.

As part of the University’s module requirements towards an MSc in Cultural Heritage Studies (2008), three students have diligently put together these various resources for easier accessibility -
