PRoBE 2009 Conference

About the PRoBE Conference

The Fourth International Conference for Postgraduate Researchers of the Built & Natural Environment (PRoBE) will take place at Glasgow Caledonian University, Glasgow, Scotland from the 19th to 20th November 2009.

The main purpose of this Glasgow Caledonian University CIB Student Chapter supported conference is to provide an avenue for postgraduate researchers in academic institutions in Scotland, and beyond, to share and exchange research information and knowledge in the areas of the built & natural environment. It should also help to enhance research and presentation skills for up and coming researchers. Papers reporting work in progress are especially welcome. Papers should have well defined research aims and objectives, and discuss research strategy and methodological issues.

All postgraduate researchers from the U.K., abroad and particularly Universities with CIB supported Student Chapters are invited to submit papers jointly with their supervisors. The content of the paper can reflect any aspect of research in the built and natural environment. View Conference Themes. View Timetable for submission of abstracts and papers.

Best paper awards are sponsored by the Emerald Group Publishing Ltd's Journal of Engineering, Design and Technology, the Journal of Financial Management of Property and Construction, Property Management and Facilities. The winning authors will receive a free subscription to the journal, an award certificate and publication in the journal subject to peer review.
