GCU Academy Learning Environment
Our lab facilities include computer suites and four high specification networking labs dedicated to support all its networking course offerings and those of the Cisco Networking Academy Programme. The networking lab environment consists of the following:
- CCNA Lab 1 dedicated to the delivery of CCNA1-4
- CCNP / Voice / WLAN Lab 1 dedicated to the delivery of Security 1 & 2, CCNP 1-4 & presentation tools.
- CCNP / Security Lab 1 dedicated to the delivery of CCNA1-4 & CCNP1-4
- CCNP / Security Lab 2: dedicated to the delivery of CCNP1-4 & CCSP

Netlab
Unlike many other academies, we can provide students with an enhanced learning experience through our Netlab implementation. Netlab provides a remote learning environment allowing students on CCNA, CCNP, and Security 1 & 2 to practice labs from work or home. Below are some of the topologies available on our Netlab facility for students.
Online Curriculum
All learning material is available through Interactive, Web-based content with diverse multimedia elements and links to background information.
Cuatro Router & Switch Pods supporting CCNA & CCNP
Online assessments & Quizzes
Individual multiple-choice online exams and quizzes on selected topics of study that probe and test knowledge levels.
Hands-on labs
Approximately 60 percent of class time is spent on lab exercises, using networking equipment to gain the practical knowledge needed in the industry. This is an opportunity for students to acquire the necessary competencies relevant in today’s advanced networking environments.
Final assessment
A final online exam as well as a final skills-based assessment is conducted under strict examination conditions on all course-relevant topics.
